Erm..

Apparently my hot links have not been working
and I didn't notice until now,
so all the songs that are SUPPOSE to be in the bottom media player thing...
well...are not, but from now on I know how to do it!
I promise!
(All the yellow links still work, just won't play on the page)

Love

My friends are moving into a new place in Toronto
in August,
and they asked a bunch of their friends to do small canvas pieces
to spice up the whitewalls
and add some decoration.
Of course I happily obliged,
and here is my first draft!
Mybeh,
I dunno about it.
What do you guys think?
CMNTS PLZ!

Listening In

I am on the phone with Telus,
trying to get them to drop
some sort of Internet fee
they want me to pay,
when I don't use the Internet.
But the important part,
is I'm on my home phone,
and quietly in the background,
I can MOST DEFINATELY
hear some woman.
She is bitching about how she pays the bills,
and how he never uses his card,
and it goes on and on.
This is weird,
I am hearing some phantom random messages?
Or is it near, my neighbor, or someone connected to my phone line?
Can she hear me?
Should I be scared to share vital information over the phone?
Why does Telus hates it's customers and try and get their money in the dirtiest ways possible?

Moovies

So attempting to go see The Strangers tonight,
I'll try and review it tomorrow.
It's been a while since I saw a really scary movie,
but that's probably because when me and Trampis and Collin had
our horror movie-thon in Montreal,
it was all three of us,
and we tend to just make fun of shitty movies (which most horrors are, excluding a few)
Some of my favorite movies that ACTUALLY scared the shit out of me:
Saw (all of them)
Hostel 1 n 2
Mothman Prophecies
The Omen - new one more so, 'cause I watched it alone
The 6th Sense (I don't know okay, it was freeky!)
Signs - those Aliens are FUCKING SCARY MAN
Gremlins - saw it was a kid...scared me!
and just for fun
Fatal Frame was actually a terrifying game.
I could barely watch it being played and there were three of us!!!
Anyways, what are you favorite scary movies?
Is there some sort of mold to create scary movies out of,
or is it possible to make any movie scary?
Can normal movies be scary, or does there have to be monsters, aliens or the paranormal?
I have friends who are stone cold to any movie except possession flicks (Exorcism movies basically) are possession flicks really the scariest?

No need to post bullshit details

drunk.
OH! I did make a huge mistake though,
so that was kinda miserable.
Anyways,
I threw together this mix,
using love songs,
I searched my hard drive,
and stole my some of my favorites.

formal

Hey all.
Trampis' birthday last night,
and it was bananas.
First we went to Splice (where I'm going to throw my party)
got a shot there,
then went to the Sapphire Room and got martinis,
and then to the Trash, which sucked, so we split a pitcher and peaced
to Sin City.
Some people might ask,
"how drunk were you Tim?"
and the answer to beat all answers
would be
"I got so drunk I pissed myself"
sigh.
I passed out on the couch and pissed myself.
Yep.
How cool am I?
I don't remember the last hour of my night,
after I drank the beer I found...
maybe I got date raped?
Either way,
it was fucking fun,
and I want to do it again
(minus one unfortunate detail)
So, laugh,
I did...
for a very long time.
=)
Here Is Unconditional Love - Tower of Power

ALSO.
Winner's has some DOPE
new era hats for 16.99 and 19.99
so if that's your game,
then head over and pick some of 'em up!

'cause everyone else...

GUYS.
New Ratatat album is out,
and evvveryone is talking about it.
Solid Improvement on last album,
although lacks some of the classic feel,
probably because it's still way too nouveau.
I'll let you guys decide:
Ratatat - Brulee
Ratatat - Bird Priest (playing)

SO.
I have a video to Bitch about.
If you guys have randomly turned on the tv recently,
you very well might have caught the new Moosehead beer commercial.
What happens is, since Moosehead is now giving out one of four different
sports balls (baseball, football, basket or soccer ball) they have an Ad
that is sickening to any guy who cares about gender representation.
The commercial basically insists that without sports, guys would be useless.
The lines are literally "Without sports, what would guys do?" and then gives
some examples ending in "talk?!" as two animated characters on screen suffer an awkward moment, clearly hinting at the fact that guys can't talk, ever.
This commercial pisses me off so much.
Is Moosehead so oblivious to the larger picture of men in our society,
ignoring the extreme jocks?
Can they not realize that being a stuck up, muscle bound, talking piece of concrete
is about as cool as the mesh muscles shirts they tend to wear?
Is Moosehead so oblivious to real guys, who drink real beer,
and are just as manly as any other,
but CAN CARRY ON A NORMAL CONVERSATION.
I don't believe that they would advertise on national television,
the fact that guys can't be creative, emotional or talkative,
and only care about sports.
So Moosehead, thank you very much,
for actually DEmasculating my gender on national TV,
reducing us to cavemen, and obliteration any headway the real guys have made,
in terms of changing our gender expectations,
so that one can ACTUALLY have a conversation,
that goes deep,
beneath the exterior,
I am a man, and fuck you and your expectations of me not being able to function without sports.
Your ad is complete failure, as it's specific target,
is becoming more narrow and more narrow with each year,
as the entire population comes to realize that
jocks were cool in grade 9,
but the real, successful men in our society can go beyond the
magazine covers and Moosehead commercials,
sit down, drink their strawberry daquaries,
watch Dawsons Creek,
draw a picture,
make some music,
have an intellectual conversation with their also male friend,
have a deep, emotional conversation with their other male friend,
and then go bang chicks hotter, more sophisticated and more educated than
any jock could ever dream of having. ever.
Fuck You Moosehead,
for ever on now,
I will think of your shitty commercial,
as I drink your beer,
because it's oh so good.
Damnit.

drink drank drunk

WOW.
drunk on a monday.
once again.
Let's listen to club bangers
and talk about cigarette brands all night.
Or we could waste our time,
strolling the stream,
wishing DFA would end their fight.

stuck!

As I partied
last night
very very drunk
stumbling around
running into random people and talking to them
I had a fun time
it was good to get out and get drunk
either way there were a couple songs stuck in my head.
First off all,
for some reason
B.O.B - Haterz(Sinden Remix) was forcefully stuck in my head all night,
I could just NOT stop singing it.
Fedde Le Grande - Put Your Hands Up For Detroit Marie was singing this, and it just lodged itself in my drunk brain.
Here is a nice song I just discovered,
probably been around for a while,
but I love it:
Justice - Phantom II (Boys Noize Remix)
